Russian econ minister says expects quarterly GDP increase Jul–Sep

MOSCOW, Mar 1 (PRIME) -- Quarter-on-quarter growth of Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) may start in July–September, Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev told reporters on Tuesday.

Central Bank Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina said earlier this week that economy may return to  quarterly growth in October–December.

“Quarterly GDP growth will be possible before the fourth quarter. I think, at the beginning of the third quarter,” Ulyukayev said.
